The Europatat Congress 2026 is the annual gathering of the European Potato Trade Association (Europatat), taking place on 3 and 4 June 2026 in Brussels, Belgium. Sessions are held at the Radisson Collection Grand Place Brussels, with the traditional Gala Dinner at La Maison du Cygne on the Grand Place.

Europatat has been running since 1952 and represents more than 30 national associations and companies involved in the seed and ware potato trade across Europe. The Congress is its central annual meeting for members

The 2026 edition adopts a business-focused format built around Europatat’s internal meetings. The programme covers meetings of five commissions—Consumption Potatoes, Seed Potatoes, Sustainability, Technical and Regulatory Issues and RUCIP—as well as the Europatat General Assembly. These sessions are reserved for Europatat members and sponsors and address regulatory, technical and market developments affecting the sector.

Europatat President Tigran Richter has described the 2026 edition as a key moment for the sector, with the Brussels location placing the Congress at the heart of EU institutions and policymakers at a time when agriculture, trade and sustainability are all under discussion. Alongside the formal meetings, the programme includes a Gala Dinner and a pre-event informal gathering for members.
